"Quick translate for Youtube" is a Firefox Add-on for Youtube captions/subtitles. You can also install as Chrome Extension.Choose translate service from Google or DeepL, or customize as you like. Online dictionary setting is also customizable.

How to Use
Translate captions/subtitles with 1 click!
Press call-out button at the bottom right corner. You can choose which translation service to use in option screen. Default setting is Google Translation.Look up words used in captions/subtitles, or just copy any text you want!
Turn on "Look up words" in option screen.Press toolbar icon. Captions/subtitles are displayed in menu.
Click any word to search online dictionary.
*Only support languages written with word delimiter. (e.g., whitespace)
You can select captions/subtitles text if you turn off "Look up words". Copy and paste freely!How to install as Chrome Extension
Open Chrome browser.
Download Firefox add-on file from mozilla.org.
Rename file extension from "xpi" to "zip", then unzip it.
Open Chrome MENU > MORE TOOLS > EXTENSIONS
Turn on DEVELOPER MODE.
Select LOAD UNPACKED.
Select the unzipped folder above.
Click EXTENSIONS icon on Chrome toolbar.
Pin "Quick translate for Youtube captions".
Download Firefox add-on file from mozilla.org.

Setting Options
Language
Default Translate Service and Custom Translate Service
Choose Google, DeepL or Custom for 1 click translaion. You need to fill "Custom Translate Service" field if you select "Custom". Input a URL like "http://example.com/search?q=".
Word Picker
You must fill "Online dictionary" field when you turn on "Look up words" option. Input a URL like "http://example.com/search?q=". Default setting is using google search.
